Matters Worth Remembering: Understanding Alzheimer’s (September 21st, 2022)

On the occasion of World Alzheimer’s we held a panel discussion in collaboration with ‘Clirnet’ to understand more deeply about Alzhiemer’s. Our founder Dr. Ananya Sinha moderated the panel, which included Dr. Debanjan Banerjee, Dr. Raghavendra Kumar K, Dr. Advait Kulkarni and our consultant clinical psychologist, Ms. Pratibha Meena.

At the Edge of the (Life) line: Understanding the Psychological and Legal Nuances of Mental Health Emergencies (May 14th, 2022 )

Dr. Raghavendra, Dr. Vandana Shetty and Dr. Hemendra Singh joined us for the discussion on emergency and risk management. The session brought clarity on questions relating to how one can protect themselves as a mental health professional while also making client beneficence a priority.

TherapHeal in collaboration with Kolkata Anandam had a panel discussion with Dr. Mythili Hazarika and Dr. Manjula M Y on gender equality. Ms. Sanjana Gupta joined the discussion to represent the voices of the underrepresented trangender.

Mental Health and The Lack Thereof (December 2nd, 2022)

TherapHeal and BrainBristle collaborated to bring an instagram live conversation between Dr. Ananya Sinha and Ms. Devangana Mishra. It aimed at initiating dialogue and raising awareness, shed light on matters around mental health and the corresponding lack of it in our daily lives.

We went live on instagram with Ms. Rashmi Mantri, a special educator. She talked about challenges faced on an everyday basis by mothers of children with special needs. Besides sharing great insights into the struggles, some ways to engage in self-care were also discussed.

TherapHeal X Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur

TherapHeal and Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur Launch #MentalHealthInitiative for Youth In a landmark collaboration, TherapHeal partnered with Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur to address the critical need for mental health education among young people. This dynamic three-day training program engaged 400 students from grades 5 to 7 in comprehensive sessions focused on emotional well-being and mental health awareness. The program also educated 1600 parents, emphasizing the importance of recognizing early signs of mental distress and providing support. A major highlight was the Psychological First Aid training for 22 educators, forming a specialized first responder task force within the school. By integrating mental health education into the school curriculum, this partnership is poised to inspire widespread change in how mental health is addressed within educational systems, setting a precedent for future initiatives.

Professional meet

On August 6, 2023, at the Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golf Links, TherapHeal marked a significant step in its journey by organizing the Professional Meet. It served as an opportunity for us to showcase our story, and also to discuss the milestones we have achieved since our establishment in October 2021. We were honored to have the presence of respectable senior psychologists and psychiatrists in Bangalore including Dr Kalyana Sundaram, Dr. CR Chandrashekar, Dr. Lata Hemchand, Dr. Poornima Bhola, Dr. Tanya Machado and Dr. Sabina Rao, who found this to be a one-of-a-kind platform.

Symposium on ‘Tele-mental Health’ at the 1st CPSICON 2023

Dr. Ananya Sinha, Dr. Poornima Chandrashekar, Ms. Megha Gupta, and Ms. Anamika Rawlani from TherapHeal had the honor of conducting a symposium on ‘Tele-mental Health’ at the 1st CPSICON 2023 organized by the Clinical Psychology Society of India CPSI at the Convention Centre, NIMHANS: Leading the Way for Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Bengaluru. We would also like to mention Ms. Angana Mukherjee Sharma and Ms. Padmaja Mushahary who also contributed actively to the development of the symposium.
