Unpause: Menopause and Beyond (October 29th, 2022)

A panel discussion in collaboration with Miyara was conducted to understand Menopause form a holistic lens. We had Ms. Sayantani Mukherjee (Clinical Psychologist), Dr. Amodita Ahuja (Gynecologist), Ms. Soumya Peeru (Clinician Dietitian) and Ms. Anupama Gopal (Lifestyle and Fitness coach).

Matters Worth Remembering: Understanding Alzheimer’s (September 21st, 2022)

On the occasion of World Alzheimer’s we held a panel discussion in collaboration with ‘Clirnet’ to understand more deeply about Alzhiemer’s. Our founder Dr. Ananya Sinha moderated the panel, which included Dr. Debanjan Banerjee, Dr. Raghavendra Kumar K, Dr. Advait Kulkarni and our consultant clinical psychologist, Ms. Pratibha Meena.

At the Edge of the (Life) line: Understanding the Psychological and Legal Nuances of Mental Health Emergencies (May 14th, 2022 )

Dr. Raghavendra, Dr. Vandana Shetty and Dr. Hemendra Singh joined us for the discussion on emergency and risk management. The session brought clarity on questions relating to how one can protect themselves as a mental health professional while also making client beneficence a priority.

Life at the Margins: An Inclusive Discourse on Lived Experiences of LGBTQIA+ Individuals (March 25th, 2022 )

Dr. Tirthankar Guha Thakurta, Dr. Vandana Shetty, Dr. Anita Rao Mysore and Ms. Somabha Bandopadhyay were invited as speakers. All of them have expertise in this area and they guided us through this fruitful discussion.

Are We Equal: Revisiting Gender Equality (March 12th, 2022)

TherapHeal in collaboration with Kolkata Anandam had a panel discussion with Dr. Mythili Hazarika and Dr. Manjula M Y on gender equality. Ms. Sanjana Gupta joined the discussion to represent the voices of the underrepresented trangender.

How Depression Can Affect Anyone (December 16th, 2021)

It was led by Neetu Takroo, the founder of “heyy- your mental health guide”, and our founder Dr. Ananya Sinha. They discussed the varied effects of depression on people and how to deal with it.

DisMANtling: Exploring Men’s Mental Health (November 27th, 2021)

The panel discussion ‘Dismantling’ took place online. It was about the struggles men face in terms of their mental health. Dr. Diptarup Chowdhury, Dr. Noufal Hameed, Dr. Shayanth Manche Gowda were invited as speakers and Dr. Ananya Sinha moderated the whole discussion. It was an informative and interactive session.

We explored the importance of allyship and its impact on lives. Questions were asked to our esteemed guest, Dr. Tirthankar Guha Thakurta, a passionate Queer Rights Activist. The aim was to shed light on the significance of being an ally, the power of inclusive communities, and how we can make a positive difference.

Mental Health and The Lack Thereof (December 2nd, 2022)

TherapHeal and BrainBristle collaborated to bring an instagram live conversation between Dr. Ananya Sinha and Ms. Devangana Mishra. It aimed at initiating dialogue and raising awareness, shed light on matters around mental health and the corresponding lack of it in our daily lives.

Embracing this Special Life: Understanding the Life of Mothers with Special Needs (17th July, 2022) 

We went live on instagram with Ms. Rashmi Mantri, a special educator. She talked about challenges faced on an everyday basis by mothers of children with special needs. Besides sharing great insights into the struggles, some ways to engage in self-care were also discussed.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall: Exploring Body Image Issues (30th April 2022)

Dr. Ananya Sinha, our founder, and Anuprita DG, the designer and founder of Howrah Bridge, came together to discuss the global body issues, from a foundational psychological perspective.
